ABOUT/CV
My name is Joel Nallo.
Currently I'm working at Metagravity both as a lead world artist and as a designer. I'm working on a upcoming MMO which right now is at a very early stage.
I provide tasks to other co-workers, some art related others being more oriented to the functionality of vegetation generation.
Besides that I have also been in charge of the 3d art and design for a smaller retro game called: Edge of Chaos: Dungeons.
Before Metagravity, I have worked at a game studio called Zordix for 5 years(Now called Maximum Entertainment).
Over there I worked most of my time in lead role as level designer.
There my main job has been to build realistic environments in Unity and push the visual looks further. Besides that, I also supervise and provide artists with tasks. On occasions I
do some 3d modelling myself.
Besides that I have helped arranging social events at the company.
When I'm not doing environment at the office, I from time to time I work with 3d modeling, optimization, concept art, character rigging and promo videos.
I also try to work on some fun 3d stuff in my free time, It's usually fantasy, horror or Sci-fi related work. Video editing and AI art is also something I enjoy doing.
Additional info:
I'm educated as a 3d Artist but I have also studied traditional art for two years.
I'm quite a social guy and try to make sure the workplace is fun to go to.
I enjoy being outside in the nature to both do fishing and hiking.
